Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before enrolling in any computer course, certification program, or training module offered by STECH Institute of Information Technology.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern enrollment in, and participation in, any course, workshop, certification program, or training offered by STECH Institute of Information Technology ("Institute", "we", "us", "our"), whether conducted at our physical training centers or through online/virtual classes. By submitting an admission form, paying course fees, or attending any class, the Student agrees to be legally bound by these Terms.

Definitions

  • "Institute" means STECH Institute of Information Technology, its branches, franchise centers, and authorized training partners.
  • "Course" means any computer training program, certificate course, diploma, or short-term/long-term module offered by the Institute, whether classroom-based, lab-based, or online.
  • "Student" means any individual enrolled in a Course, including minors enrolled through a parent or guardian.
  • "Fees" means the course fee, registration fee, examination fee, and any other charges payable by the Student.
  • "Study Material" means printed notes, e-books, software, practice files, videos, or any content provided as part of a Course.

Enrollment & Admission

2.1 The Institute reserves the right to accept or reject any application for enrollment in a Course at its sole discretion.

2.2 The Student must provide accurate, complete, and valid information (including identity proof and educational documents, where applicable) during the admission process.

2.3 Admission is confirmed only after successful submission of the admission form and payment of the applicable registration/course fee.

2.4 The Institute may require additional documentation to verify eligibility for a specific Course or certification.

Fees & Payment

3.1 Course fees are as specified on the Institute's website, fee structure notice board, or official admission form, and are subject to revision without prior notice for new admissions.

3.2 Fees must be paid as per the schedule communicated at the time of admission — either in full or in the agreed installment structure.

3.3 The Institute accepts payments via cash, UPI, debit/credit card, and bank transfer. A valid receipt will be issued for every payment made.

3.4 Non-payment of due installments may result in suspension of classes, withholding of certificates/mark-sheets, or cancellation of admission.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

4.1 The Institute follows a strict no-refund policy once classes have commenced. No refund will be entertained after 2 days from the start of the Student's batch/classes.

4.2 If a Course is cancelled, postponed indefinitely, or discontinued by the Institute before commencement, the Student will be offered a full refund or a transfer to an equivalent Course/batch, at the Student's choice.

4.3 Fees once paid are non-transferable to another individual, except with prior written approval from the Institute administration.

4.4 Any approved refund will be processed after deducting applicable administrative and processing charges.

Course Content, Software & Materials

5.1 The Institute reserves the right to update, modify, or restructure the Course curriculum, syllabus, or study material at any time to keep pace with industry and technology changes.

5.2 All software, licenses, tools, and lab environments provided during training are for educational/practice purposes only and must not be copied, resold, or used for any commercial purpose.

5.3 Study material, recorded lectures, presentations, and practice files are the intellectual property of the Institute and may not be reproduced, shared, or distributed without written permission.

5.4 Students are responsible for the proper use of computer lab equipment, systems, and internet access provided during practical sessions. Any damage caused due to negligence may be charged to the Student.

Attendance, Assessment & Certification

6.1 Students are expected to maintain a minimum attendance of 75% to be eligible for the final assessment/examination and certificate of completion.

6.2 Certificates, mark-sheets, or diplomas will be issued only after successful completion of the Course, passing the internal/final assessment, and clearance of all outstanding fees.

6.3 The Institute reserves the right to withhold certification in cases of incomplete attendance, unresolved fee dues, or violation of examination integrity (e.g., malpractice during tests).

6.4 Makeup classes for missed sessions may be provided at the discretion of the Institute and may be subject to availability of batches.

Code of Conduct

7.1 Students are expected to behave in a professional, respectful, and disciplined manner with faculty, staff, and fellow students at all times.

7.2 Ragging, harassment, misuse of lab systems, unauthorized access to Institute data/networks, or any form of misconduct will result in immediate disciplinary action, including possible expulsion without refund.

7.3 The Institute reserves the right to remove any Student from a Course who fails to meet these conduct requirements.

Intellectual Property

8.1 The Institute retains all intellectual property rights over its Course curriculum, study material, branding, and training methodology.

8.2 Students acknowledge that they acquire no ownership or intellectual property rights in the Course materials or software provided, beyond personal use for learning purposes.

Data Privacy

9.1 Personal information collected during admission (name, contact details, documents, photographs) is used solely for enrollment, communication, and certification purposes.

9.2 The Institute does not sell or share Student data with third parties, except as required for certification bodies, government reporting, or legal compliance.

Liability & Indemnity

10.1 The Institute shall not be liable for any indirect loss, damages, or inconvenience suffered by the Student as a result of participation in a Course, including technical disruptions during online classes.

10.2 The Student agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Institute, its owners, faculty, and staff from any claims, damages, or losses arising from their conduct or participation.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

11.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

11.2 Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the city where the Institute's registered branch operates, or resolved through arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

Changes to These Terms

12.1 The Institute reserves the right to modify, update, or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

12.2 Continued enrollment or attendance after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an admission form, making a fee payment, or attending any class (offline or online) at STECH Institute of Information Technology, the Student (or their parent/guardian, if a minor) acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
